An essential masterpiece in the canon of American literature, this great classic comes vividly alive in a full-cast reading woven together with original music. Led by Patrick Fraley with Edward Asner, the 50 actors lend just the right voice to each character, underscoring the timeless, universal themes. From a cemetery in a fictional mid-American town, the dead speak their truth. Some speak of hardship and sordidness; others, of their simple, honest, happy lives.
"The cast of 50, headed by Patrick Fraley and Edward Asner, is well matched to the many characters in this excellent production."
